Christ Greenfield Church & School After-School Clubs

At Christ Greenfield Church & School, All Around Learning Center hosts LEGO Robotics Clubs for students in grades 2–8.

Students will be divided into two groups based on grade level:

• Junior Robotics: Grades 2–4
• Senior Robotics: Grades 5–8

The Robotics Club is a perfect opportunity for both new and returning robotics students! Students will have lots of hands-on fun building and programming LEGO Mindstorms robots while developing their creativity, problem-solving, engineering, and programming skills.

Students will learn to assemble and program original designs as well as follow guided constructions. They will have the opportunity to build their own vehicles, animals, humanoids, and other imaginative designs using various LEGO kits.

Students with previous robotics experience are encouraged to take their programming skills to the next level. They will explore how light, touch, sound, and ultrasonic sensors can enhance their robots and allow them to respond to their environment in creative ways.

No previous robotics experience? No problem! Students who love building with LEGO and can follow step-by-step instructions will quickly learn the basics of LEGO Mindstorms and be designing and programming amazing robots in no time.

Throughout the club, students will put their robots and designs to the test on a variety of fun and challenging obstacle courses and robotics challenges.
