Improve Your Skills through multisensory hands-on activities. Individual and small group instruction will be incorporated. During registration, parents will have the option to choose which subject(s) they wish their student to focus on: math, reading, writing and/or typing. For math, the camp offers an array of enrichment opportunities including foundation drills, and conceptual exercises. There will also be practice of key operations and applications with an emphasis on both speed and accuracy. For reading, we will work on fluency and comprehension. While for writing, we will discuss the important steps of the writing process, and practice both paragraph and essay writing with emphasis on proper grammar. Students can also practice/learn typing skills with our a fun computer program. All subjects use various teaching methods to address the needs of diverse learning styles. Students with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, math or reading difficulties will benefit greatly from this camp. Multiple weeks are recommended for greater improvement.
