Research reveals that “students lose approximately 2.6 months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation skills over the summer months” and that “students who lose ground over the summer have a difficult time catching up during the following school year.” The primary focus of the Back-to-School Skills Review Camp is to refresh student’s math skills, and reinforce previously taught concepts before the start of the new academic year. The camp has a small group format to allow time for interaction between the teacher and each student. Students can work on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division facts, fractions, decimals, word problems and more. We will address major math concepts for each grade level. Give your student’s brain a jump-start before school begins!
